If you want to remember what you are capable of, hone your skills, learn new ones, mentor at one of our village camps or if you just want to get away and hang out in the bush with some top-quality humans, this is the weekend for you.
Presented by Wildcraft Australia and Wild Beings, this weekend course covers a mix of survival skills, bush crafts and nature connection. We also have a bit of a treat for this next course as one of the presenters just featured on Season 3 of ‘Alone’. Really looking forward to hearing her stories. She’ll be able to share more by then as the series will have been released publicly.
The course covers an array of skills and activities that may one day save your life or at least make life a lot more fun if you found yourself in a tricky situation.
These include a selection from the below.
Fire by friction / Natural shelters / Making rope / Bush Food & Medicine / Finding Water / Navigation / Stars / Art of Camouflage / Stillness / Natural Movement / Tracking / Sit Spots / Wildlife Observation / Ochre Painting / Basket making / Weaving / Awareness Games and Activities / Stealth / The Sacred Hunt / Fishing / Bush Crafts / Songs / Guided Walks / Stories / Cultural Connection
A night activity will run on Friday and Saturday night.
If there is something you are super keen to learn, let us know so we keep it in the program.
